Make Your Own Thanksgiving Chandelier

If you follow me on Facebook you know that I will be hosting Thanksgiving this year. You will also know that several of the rooms around here are in desperate need of some decorating. The eating area for sure needs a light fixture over the table. As it is now in the evenings it is hard to see what you are eating. So I came up with a little something this afternoon.

Pretty cool, huh?

I grabbed some interesting sticks and branches from the backyard. Then tied them together with yarn.

Hung it from the ceiling with a bit of fishing line and then wrapped Christmas lights around it.

I am loving the whimsy this branchy chandy is creating in here. Can’t you just imagine an amazing table setting underneath?

As the decorating continues I will be sure to keep you all posted!!

I LOVE it! You smarty pants you. I really like that it's easy enough to do for a party or holiday, but then it's not necessarily permanent (though I wouldn't mind it sticking around :)
